There were angst and obstacles that they had to overcome before reaching their HEA, but Evans deals with them in such a way that made it effortless, it was compelling and perfect. Their story is definitely one of my favorites now. The connection, the chemistry and the sexual tension between them are strong and palpable. What can I say, I just completely and truly loved Malcolm and Rachel. I really liked how she can be feisty and at the same get a little shy sometimes. Her character development was amazing to see. I also admired Rachel owning up to her mistake and doing her best to right it. Oh what I wouldn’t give to be in bed with a guy like Saint and have him go all primal and start giving me ghost kisses!!! I’m fanning myself over here!!! ^^Malcolm Freaking Saint and his suits FUCK ME ^^ AHHHH I LOVE THAT QUOTE SO MUCH *swooning* His vulnerability, his heart and the length of things he will do for the people he cares about.
He’s the epitome of a powerful, sensual, rich, alpha male! But oh boy did I FELL HARD on him on this one! As always, he oozes strength, his presence formidable and electric, but this time we get to see more of him. I really was taken with Malcolm Saint when he was first introduced to us in Manwhore. “You’re the only heaven I will ever know, Rachel”-he looks into my eyes-“and if you were a hell, I’d sin my whole life just to stay with you.” The chemistry between Malcolm and Rachel was searing, and you just felt it right along with them. It’s tough to pull off a better consuming descriptive prowess as Katy Evans does. I swear to god I thought my heart and ovaries would burst. Manwhore +1 is thrilling, emotional, and filled with so much sigh-inducing parts. His hand coasts down my rib cage, his thumb slowly stroking my hipbone as he leans over and nibbles my ear. So I’m just going to try to be a little vague about some things and tell you what I loved. I don’t even know where to begin because if I reviewed this how I wanted to, there would be so many spoilers no one could read it. The last 15% of this book left me speechless. But how can I prove to the man who trusts no one that I’m worthy of becoming his plus one?Īnd OH. Now that the assignment is over, Saint wants something from me–something unexpected–and I want this wicked playboy’s heart. Malcolm Saint is absolute Sin, and I’ve become a hopeless Sinner.
But my head was overtaken by my heart and suddenly nothing could stop me from falling. I intended to reveal him, his secrets, his lifestyle-not let him reveal me. A beautiful, difficult man I was supposed to uncover for a racy exposé.
